The Freedom Alliance is an organization founded by Colonel Oliver North.  The purpose of the Freedom Alliance is to assist the children of fallen soldiers by providing college scholarship money for their children. 

Upon learning of this worthy organization, Gary contacted the Director of the Freedom Alliance and offered to provide free commercial time on his weekly show to publicize their generous work.   The Director was grateful, but sheepishly admitted that the organization did not have a radio commercial.  So, Gary wrote the commercial script and enlisted the aid of the company that handles all of his show production work, Mark McKay Media.  

“Awesome!”  That was the first word that came out of the mouth of the Director the first time he heard the commercial.  Today, this commercial is heard each week on the Southern Gospel USA Countdown Show, in addition to numerous radio stations across the country, upon learning a commercial for the Freedom Alliance is now available.

For his efforts, Gary received a certificate of appreciation from the Freedom Alliance in July 2004.
